Our board of directors provide oversight and guidance to the General Manager and staff, who do the daily work of the Jubilee Center. Our directors come from a wide range of business and professional backgrounds and generously share their expertise to advance our mission of service to those living in poverty and at the margins in Northwest Denver.
Mr. Gregory A. Wetherbee, President
Mr. Wetherbee is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lakewood, Colorado. He works as a chemist on precipitation chemistry quality assurance with the U.S. Geological Service.
Ms. Lelanda Lee, Vice President
Ms. Lee serves The Episcopal Church as an anti-racism trainer and as the bishop's representative on the Jubilee Center's board. She is a retired commercial banker and a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Longmont, Colorado. Ms. Lee's consulting practice provides workshop design and facilitation services with an emphasis in leadership and organizational development.
Ms. Laurie Zant, Secretary
Ms. Zant serves as bishop's warden of Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church in Denver, Colorado, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She works as a lead business consultant in the computer software industry.
Mr. Jesse Brown, CPA, Treasurer
Mr. Brown is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Spiritual Director, and a member of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Broomfield, Colorado.
The Rev. Linda J. Brown, General Manager
The Rev. Brown is a deacon at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Broomfield, Colorado, with a MASM in Religious Leadership and Spiritual Formation. She has 29 years experience in private industry, including management, training, financial management, and program development.
Ms. Lauri Briscoe
Ms. Briscoe serves on the bishop's committee of Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church in Denver, Colorado, and lives in the Northwest Denver neighborhood. She is an educator with extensive tutoring, teaching, and mentoring experience, as well as a background in biomedical research.
Ms. Virginia Grogan
Ms. Grogan is long-time volunteer of the Jubilee Center and lives in the Northwest Denver neighborhood.
Ms. Pamela Stewart
Ms. Stewart is a Physician's Assistant in Family Practice and Obstetrics and Gynecology, a postulant for the vocational diaconate in The Episcopal Church, and a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Stewart also volunteers with the Colorado Haiti Project as a medical missioner since 1998 and recently led two medical missions focused on women's health in 2010 and 2012.
